Free Inspiration Guide: Gardening With Children

Here’s a little something I’ve been working on and wanted to share with you! A free inspiration guide for 🌱Gardening With Children🌱with photos, recipes, and ideas.

Because here’s the biggest thing I’ve learned since we started our first, tiny postage-stamp-sized garden in our Dallas backyard in 2007: it’s not about having an Instagram-worthy cottage garden or the perfect tools, supplies, seeds, and gear. It’s about being a part of a bigger story, one that began way before us and continues to unravel in our homes, backyards, and dinner tables.

And it’s not too late to start! Whether or not you have little ones at home, or if your kids are older, I hope you’ll find the guide useful and inspiring in some way!

This is going to be quite a journey, but a worthwhile one. Get ready to connect with your children on a whole new level, learn how to problem-solve, push through difficulties, develop perseverance and patience, and pretty much never have clean fingernails again. 😏

In the words of my 9-year-old: “Don’t think of it as work, think of it as a playground.” Love it!

If you already have a garden this spring, how’s it going? What’s been your favorite thing?
