The Kindred Life Podcast Ep. 15: Purposeful Hands

When is the last time you thought about your own two hands and how they help you function in the world? Have you even looked at them lately?

After a day of starting spring seeds here on the farm, I’m reflecting on the balance of work, rest and play: we can get our hands dirty and also stop to find healing, slowness, and nourishment. I share a personal story about learning to care better for myself when it’s so easy to just keep plowing through. From gardening, to taking care of our children or homes, to fun hobbies, to all the work set before us, our hands do so much. We need to stop and see the purpose in that.

LISTEN IN, and take a few moments with me to stop, notice, and dream!
